General Servicing

We service the older Autopilot I and Autopilot II models as well as the newer CPT Autopilots. There is a $55 minimum inspection fee for opening, inspecting and diagnostics for the unit.

Carriage Bolt Mounting Bracket Issue

Using a long carriage bolt with the drive mounting bracket will cause unnecessary wear on the mounting bracket hole

Guidelines For Shipping The Autopilot

Send both the motor and sensor boxes.
Do not cut any wires.
Both motor and sensor boxes should be individually bubble-wrapped, then both units should be bubble-wrapped together, placed in a box, then boxed again surrounded by 2.5" of styrofoam pellets. A UPS store is an easy place to do this.
It is a good idea to mark the package “fragile” and insure it against possible shipping damage.

Warranty

New units come with a one year limited warranty as specified in the CPT Owner’s Manual. Customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from the factory for warranty repairs.
